Just a Quickie

Get your mind out of the gutter! Not that kind of quickie! Hubby's not home yet.

I have survived my first day back at the office.

It was very sweet...the ladies on my team decorated my desk with a nice sign and a CRAP-load of confetti. Take a look!

What you can't see is that they have that confetti everywhere. It was nice. It stuck to my a$$ all day. Real cute.

I'm beyond tired tonight, but didn't want you all to worry. I figured I better log on to let you know I survived, came home and cooked dinner, and now I'm going to bed.

Here's a Blogthings for you...and let me tell you I am feeling EVERY bit of this!!

How cluttered is your brain? It will be interesting to see where you all rate, since I have my suspicions.

Your Mind is 61% Cluttered

Your mind is quite cluttered. And like most clutter, it's a bunch of crap you don't need.

Try writing down your worst problems and fears. And then put them out of your mind for a while.

So glad that you had a good day back...confetti on your A** and all!! It's always so much nicer when the people you work with seemed to have actually missed you welcome you back, isn't it!!
Have a great weekend!!!

Congratulations, Grandy! Looks like a very nice welcome back even if the confetti stayed with you. LOL

I'm worried exactly how cluttered my mind is. Photographic memory means I can tell you the birthdays of my first grade classmates, some of whom I haven't seen since the end of 6th grade in '78!

Come on over to my blog to claim your award! :)

Told you I had been by here. Who can miss that giant bird image?

Hmmm ... times flies. It's hard to believe you're back to work already, and certainly hope you feel 'rested' from your 'recovery' time at home. I posted a Blogthing (albeit a different one) today myself (along with some poetry and links). Great minds, eh? I know I've done this one before but for the life of me I can't recall my results ... and if I stop to take it again, I'll miss more 'blog visits' ... something I'm concentrating on today in an attempt to 'catch up' ... hopeless I know but what the hay! Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
Hugs and blessings,

Melissa~ Thanks...now I've survived my first two. ;)

dk~ It is really good to feel appreciated. I think they genuinely missed me.

Curb~ HOTTER? With confetti butt? I like the way you think!!

Jenn~ Only 33%...come on over and show my your tricks.

Mike~ You weren't the one in the gutter I was worried about.

Tina~ I wouldn't have guessed you that high. If you were 95% cluttered, you wouldn't be able to keep a dog. ;)

Suzanne~ That's sick about that memory thing. I'm on my way over.

dave~ Hey, what can I say? It's definitely "different", like me. :)

storyteller~ Thanks so much for including me in your "catch up" time.

Recently one of the guys I work with was gone for 3 weeks. Some co-workers...not me!...wrapped his entire cube and everything in it in bright pink wrapping paper. The paper had princesses all over it.

It was hilarious!

I'm 46% cluttered.
