What IS It About that Brown Guy??

Today was a "Manic Monday"...
Of course it was!! It was Monday!!
Has anyone even heard of a "Manic Tuesday"? I think not!

I was really starting to feel bah-humbug like. Not feeling very much in the holiday spirit. Maybe I needed a nap? Nope...just a reminder.

I came home to witness my first boyfriend on TV. Yep, that's right, me and Charlie go WAY BACK!! Ladies, don't try to fight me on this one. He's all mine!!!

Have you seen him lately? His sarcasm is GLORIOUS!! It's been years since I've seen his specials, but as I rushed home to hang out with my son (Hubby is out of town) A Charlie Brown Christmas was on. This was truly the treat I needed to get into the spirit. Why? Because it reminds you of what Christmas is about!!!

I wonder if I could take a quiz (or make one) that would tell me what kind of Charlie Brown character I could be?? Can you guess which one I would be? I'd probably be Peppermint Patti. :)

Thanks, Charlie Brown, for giving me the down time with Ty and for reminding me what the holiday season is about. Charles Schultz is pure genius!!!

Thanks for stopping by, Michele! And so late too?? When do you sleep? I'm almost done with my sister's music and then I'm outtie.

Oh, ok, you can have him. My son and I watched this together and it felt just like old times. Good grief I love Chuck.

I'm a fan too ... though somehow I missed the Charlie Brown Christmas Show if it was on recently. I hardly turn the TV on these days since I discovered blogging :)

This is my first visit to your Blog. I found you through a comment you left at Melissa's ... someone I found recently through her "yattan" NaBloPoMo badge as well.

I've bookmarked your site and will return as time permits to get better acquainted.
Hugs and blessings,

Good Morning Grandy,
I Love Charlie Brown also. But I will let you have him. LOL. I always love watching the Charlie Brown Specials also. I guess I'm still a kid at heart. LOL. I did miss it last night tho. Hubby was watching something else on the tube. I could have went in the bedroom to watch it, but when hubby gets to be home during the week, I just want to be in the same room as he is. I'm glad you got to spend time with your son. Well, take care my friend and have a great Tuesday. May God Bless You and Yours.

I <3 Charlie Brown, too. I've been getting all the DVDs for my kids to watch. So sweet, without being treacle-y.

Ed and I almost dressed as Charlie and Patti for Halloween this year. I look like her and he has Charlie's outlook on life! Just couldn't find him the shirt in the right size!

Charlie Brown is your first boyfriend? You have bigger problems than I thought. LOL! Then again, I may be the only person on the face of the planet who can barely tolerate Charlie Brown. I think that part of my brain got damage during birth.

My kids always loved Charlie Brown, and still watch A Charlie Brown Christmas now, along with their kids. What's not to love, when it comes to Charlie Brown. Well, maybe Lucy, but even she kind a grows on you.

Hey Grandy Girl! I just did the ABC meme you tagged me with! Sadly B was not for Brown in my world. But I do catch myself wah-wah wa wa wahing in my headless adult way sometimes. There's probably a lesson in there somewhere!

Just checking in on your sis. I'm still praying for her!

I'm still praying for your big sis. Hope things are going smoothly.

I finally said my ABC's :0) You know what I'm talking about.

Chin up!

Thank you, everyone, for stopping by and commenting. I love Charlie Brown because he makes me laugh with his depressed attitude (for those of you questioning my judgment in men).

And yes, ladies, I'm back. ;)
