Sunday Stalker Spotlight Coming Soon

Blogger has a feature that allows people to stalk "follow" other blogs. This is different than the RSS feed, or even Google Reader. When I log in to my blog, there is a window down below that shows latest posts on all the blogs I stalk follow.

Grandy has of course dubbed hers as a stalker central, only because she's a dork that way. It is not because she doesn't truly appreciate all the people who follow this blog. I appreciate ALL my readers, whether you stop to comment or not.

As a matter of fact, I sometimes forget that some family and friends actually read my blog. I was talking to Mom on the phone the other day, about something that happened during my day, and she responds with, "Oh and you're having computer issues to boot!" Of course, I responded with, "How do you know that?"

DUH!!!

Why would my mother NOT check in on what her daughter is posting all over the world wide web for all the world to see? I'm sure her curiosity has gotten the better of her from time to time, to see what embarrassing moment I might be ever-so-willing to share with the world.

Well, to show my appreciation for all my followers in Stalker Central over there, I am going to start a weekly feature here in Grandy-Land called "Sunday Stalker Spotlight", where I will feature the post about a given stalker for the week. I would like to know more about the people that follow my craziness, and see what makes you all tick.

Have any of you actually peaked into your follower list? It's a great window into the different people your reaching. A note to some of you stalkers out there...HOW DO YOU KEEP UP? I see several that have about 10 blogs listed under their profile. There are those that have one very awesome blog, but it shows zero because maybe it's not a Blogger blog, but Wordpress or something.

So stalkers...expect an email from me (or a comment somewhere on your blog if I can't find an email) eventually, asking if you would like to participate in my "Sunday Stalker Spotlight". If you would prefer to do skip it, I understand and will not whine (much).

I look forward to giving you all a chance to SHINE here in Grandy-Land.

I love my stalkers...I even got a new one recently. I keep track of all of them and read all their blogs (if they have one) as well as the other gazillion blogs I follow. How do I keep up with them? I have no life.

I love my computer because all my friends live in there!

Good idea, Grandy! I always wonder how people find my blog. Sometimes I wonder why they stay! ;-) They must drink a lot of coffee, too.

One thing that does kind of annoy me is that while I do follow your blog from my Blogger account...the blog associated with it is not my "main" blog (it's our family blog). Weird.

This is why I don't tell my family about my blogs. Not that I do anything they don't know about but already we don't see or talk to each other enough and this way if they want to know what I am up to they better pick up the damn phone and ask me.

ROFL! That photo is hilarious :)

What a great idea to have a SSS! I think it's a great feature Blogger has.

I hear you on forgetting that family and friends read our blogs. My mom called this morning frantic, "are you alright!? You didn't post this weekend?"

*sigh*

I always wish I could see my whole list of subscribers (I don't have that Follow feature, since I'm with Wordpress). But maybe it's better that I can't. It would be fun, though. :-)

Being new to this blogging stuff, I am curious to know how people find me too. I do read other blogs and leave comments. Perhaps it's the comment that arouses a person curiosity. But, for now, (at least this week) I'm going to have to live with not knowing.

I had no idea you could click on that followers tag in the dashboard on blogger and be able to see who is following! How cool!

I follow all my blogs in my Google Reader. It is just easier that way - I have about 200 blogs in there. I read about 50 of them a day I bet. It's a rotating thing.

My family doesn't read my blog too much, but it's nice to know that if I do have something to tell them and it's in my blog- I just send them an email with a link :)

Hope you have a great day!

Robin~ Thanks!! Glad you like.

Kirby~ I can't really do that email the family thing. They wouldn't get it if it were one of my rants. :)

Paloma~ Ours is more of a "mutual" stalking thing. :)
