Has it really been 10 years? Were it not for remembering my son was only 5 at the time, I would swear it was just a very short time ago.
There were events everywhere to commemorate the anniversary of this event. Our local scout troop retired a very special flag, flown by a man on 9/11/01...and not taken down until Osama was found.
After 10 years, emotions are still very much involved. After 10 years, the sense of comraderie and unity is stronger than ever. I am so very proud of who we are.
I heard this song 3 times today...and of course cried 3 times.

Hi sweetie! I watched all the 9-11 TV programs last night shown here on our end to mark the 10-yr anni of this horrific event... there's just no way you can feel nothing when remembering what transpired that day.. still so surreal still gets me teary thinking of the victims who didn't know what hit them that morning... :(
